The Creative Process Behind My Collages

Here are the collages created from Day 17 to 32 of the 100 Day Challenge. I’m continuing to focus on scanned images of my hand-printed gel prints, my digital art, my own digital brushes, and using Procreate and Rebelle 7 Pro to create the final collages.

I love working with a variety of tools and techniques! It keeps things fresh and exciting. Each day brings new challenges and discoveries. I’m also sticking to a specific format: a 3600 px by 3600 px square at 300 dpi. Working at this size and resolution means the finished pieces can go straight to my Pixel shop as wall art, home decor, stationery, and lifestyle products.

Daily Inspirations

Every day, I find inspiration in the world around me. Whether it's a walk in nature or a moment spent with a cup of coffee, these experiences fuel my creativity. I often wonder how other artists find their spark. Do they have a routine? Or do they let spontaneity guide them?

For me, it's a mix of both. I have my routines, but I also leave room for surprises. Sometimes, the best ideas come when I least expect them!

The Tools I Use

Let’s talk about the tools I use. Procreate and Rebelle 7 Pro are my go-to applications. They offer a range of features that allow me to experiment and push my boundaries. I love how intuitive they are!

Creating with digital brushes is a game-changer. I can mimic traditional techniques while enjoying the flexibility of digital art. It’s like having the best of both worlds!

Sharing My Work

I’ll post montages of the collages here over the next 100 days. Each day's artwork is posted to my Instagram account (here) and is available for purchase in my Pixels/Fine Art America shop (here).

I enjoy sharing my journey with others. It’s rewarding to connect with fellow creatives and see their responses to my work. Feedback is invaluable! It helps me grow and refine my style.

Looking Ahead

As I continue this challenge, I’m excited about what lies ahead. Each day is a new opportunity to explore and innovate. I’m eager to see how my style evolves and what new techniques I’ll discover.

If you’re on a creative journey, I encourage you to embrace the process. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small. Remember, it’s all about enjoying the ride!

Conclusion

In conclusion, this 100 Day Challenge is more than just a project for me. It’s a chance to dive deep into my creative practice and share my passion with the world. I hope you’ll join me on this journey, and maybe even find inspiration for your own artistic endeavors.

Let’s keep creating and pushing our boundaries together!
