Painting Some Paisleys

While sitting around over the weekend binge-watching various shows on Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime, I painted some fun, loose, and quick paisley designs. This was just for fun; no stress, plans, or expectations involved!


I used watercolour paints and a limited colour palette; Payne's Gray, sap green, cadmium red pale hue, and cadmium yellow hue. Here are the three paisley designs I created,

I liked how the three paisleys turned out so I decided to use them to design a repeating paisley pattern. Here is the resulting pattern shown as a mock-up of a scarf and a tea towel.

This was such a great way to spend the evening; watching some fun shows and being creative!
