A Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek into a new collection I've just started working on. The influences for this collection are Japanese patterns and stencils, shells and scales, flowing water, and wild stems. I'm using a monochromatic blue colour palette. So far the motifs have been hand-drawn or hand-painted using the oak gall ink I made a few months ago. In my mind I see all these influences coming together, now to see if it comes true!

Here is a pillow mock-up of a draft of one of the patterns; wild stems and blooms so far. Hmm, have you noticed I seem to use pillow mock-ups a lot?
