Katagami Inspired Collection

In week 2 of the Textile Design Lab's Summer of Creativity, we explored the textile traditions of Japan. I was inspired by katagami and designed a stencil for the main pattern. I used the Silhouette cutter to cut the stencil. I stenciled the design using acrylic paint on paper and assembled the pattern in AI.
